Summary – The book
is about counting 10 ladybugs that one by one they disappear. The book is
counting backwards the lady bugs from 10-1.
Rating 1-5 **** This
books is great it has ladybug as characters and there popping out of the book,
which makes it fun to count. The illustrations on the books are amazing because
they’re very colorful and that gets the children’s attention.
Classroom Ideas: The book can be use in a lesson to demonstrate the basic and principles
of subtraction and addition. The Ten Little Ladybugs could be used to teach
children about different insects and to count their characteristics like legs,
eyes, spots, ect.
I like how this book has popped out illustrations. It's always a great idea to choose books that will engage the children and this book definitely does so!
